help me find a kitten?
Hi, im looking to buy a kitten in the next 2 days and you wouldnt believe how hard it is to find one! I have searched the classifieds and everyone i call says the kittys are all taken.
So, my question is do you know of anyone who has kittens for sale in or near birmingham, uk? or anywhere that sells kittens (not breeders or cat rescues)?
I have tryed ringing cat rescues but they dont have any kittens and i want a normal moggie (pref grey tabby and white) not a pedigree.

@ clare, i have tryed cats protection, they have no kittens at mo, and others are saying the same. I would love to “save” a kitten from a rescue center but another thing is they want me to pay £50 for a kitten, and then ill have to pay to get it spayed, also it takes up to a month and i want one sooner if poss
@ lola, i can afford to look after one, but why should i pay £50 for a 7 month old kitten when i can get a 8 week old kitten for 25 – 30 pound.
I’d just like to point out that whilst it may cost a little extra to adopt a kitten from a shelter or rescue centre it is worth it. The kittens there will have had health checks, been desexed, wormed, deflead and vaccinated. Most cat rescues as filled with moggies who are in desperate need of homes, and an adult cat is just as warm, friendly and playful as a kitten.
Since a rescue cat has already had all the health checks your not going to get any sudden surprises. Paying an extra $20 for a feline from a rescue is worth it in my opinion.
