Stanley Coren unclassified and the Brazilian Terrier Jack Russell Terrier in The Intelligence of Dogs
Can you tell me where they would be in this ranking?
Stanley Coren list was not exhaustive and does not include all breeds, especially rare breeds like a Brazilian terrier. JRTs are common, not sure why not included. But not classified. Most species were grouped terriers media group – I'd assume these terriers would be the same. Furthermore, this list should not be taken as gospel, only as a general guide to intelligence work and has been heavily criticized, especially by people who possess the breeds ranked low on the list.
