Why are so hypocritical PPL?
Why condemn the Western consumption of dog meat, but eating beef? The justification common with the flesh of dog is that dogs are man's best friend. But in reality, is the Western man's best friend. The rest of the world is treated like an animal normal. However, Westerners cry to when the dogs are eaten in Asia. Similarly, the Hindhus treat cows as sacred animals. So why not Western stop eating beef and all that Big Mac is hypocritical, because Western groups have regularly campaign to stop the sale of dog meat in Asia. Does anyone still remember how FIFA criticized South Korea for their trade selling dog? Asians do not go to the West and to campaign for a ban beef or pork to be banned.
I think it's an age old argument that is defined by cultural differences in our world. As with many issues I do not think this will never be universally accepted. You're right, we (Westerners) are upset because the dogs are pets to us. Interestingly, I did not hear anyone complaining about eating snake meat and many but many people have snakes for pets. I think people personify dogs well, then any other animal. As far as being hypocritical, well, it saddens me to think about eating dogs, but no cows. Only the culture in which they were raised in. So I guess that makes me a hypocrite. I grew up around cows (mainly dairy) and grew attached to a little like a child. But it was a fact Someya life that go to slaughter. It is a fact of life that dogs go to the slaughter. Good question, I have a better response. Now I feel like an a **. ADDED … probably get a lot of negative responses to this, but must remember that our government. Now I'm not saying that it is sometimes necessary, but our government likes to stick the nose that does not belong in ALL THE TIME. Most times I feel justified in what our government does, but when it comes to cultural beliefs that sometimes I think take things too far. What if the U.S. Hindus decided to jump and try to stop us from eating meat? Would not it be interesting?
