My cat of 13 years old has recently started peeing in the house. Has anyone had a problem cat like this? Help.
I do not want he left, because besides being a little slower than it used to be, everything else about him is normal. I also have 2 cats of others who have came to my house after him, but I'm not convinced that it is "marking his territory", but I have not ruled out. I'm thinking some type of medication can prevent this from happening, but right now I can not pay $ 200 to take him to the vet. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has had an experience similar with your pet and if there was a way to solve it. Thank you.
Put down? What? that is even an option for you about this? Probably has a urinary tract infection (UTIs), which can be fatal. Take him to the vet. If so, you need antibiotics, and veteran of HTE should try to make sure you choose the correct antibiotic. And never consider a cat down just because you have a problem, think about what you have done to you! My cat is that when she had a urinary tract infection, they can cause kidney failure and death so you have to take him to the vet. Try credit childcare payments.
