Now that the weather is changing and the seasons have changed officially, means it's time for colds and flu to everyone. More and more people will get sick when you start seeing more people around you coughing and sniffling. We are also on alert since the media is constantly trying to scare us with the flu all pigs. As a personal trainer from Napa I've found that now more than ever we must protect our bodies and build our immune systems so they are super strong and can take any foreign invader.
Unfortunately many of us have weak immune systems, which have much to with the way they are taking care of ourselves. Do not always take into account our pre-existing health when flu season comes around. Instead we avoid healthy eating and exercise quick way to get the flu shot and filling our bodies with harmful chemicals. But simply following a few simple tips that anyone can improve your immune system and dramatically increase your recovery time if you should happen to fall ill.
1. Sleep more – Sleep has been shown to help our bodies recover better than anything else out there. All supplements in the world can not replace a natural night's sleep. Anyone who has failed good night's sleep will tell you how bad you feel. Free radicals are roaming our bodies causing chaos and sleep is a great way to naturally detox and recover the body. What do the researchers get eight hours of sleep is true, also be sure you're not going to bed too late. When sleeping on the one in the morning and getting up at nine this reserving eight hours of sleep, but that is natural rhythms organs are removed. Instead try to get to bed at half-past ten o'clock.
2. No more sweet things – I'm talking about here is that sugar and other artificial sweeteners like Splenda which causes much chaos in the body and actually weaken the immune system and cause weight gain. Researchers have found that consuming sugar developed immune system weakened by about eight to twelve hours later. We also found that those who ate no sugar destroyed fourteen times more bacteria in their bodies.
3. Hydrate – Drink plenty of water is not as easy as it sounds. In fact consume at least half of their body weight in ounces of fluid a day can be a challenge for many. Since our bodies are mostly made of water is essential to constantly replace one of our greatest resources. Just drop one or two percent of dehydration may cause a reduction in performance. The next time you feel thirsty be sure to drink that water. Try to stay away from the shakes and fruit juices and just stick with good old natural fresh water.
4. Get the stress – Stress is one of those things that can not always be avoided, because we are all crazy busy life. Making constantly stresses on our bodies can be imposed on our bodies and hormones. If any of you have heard of cortisol that you know of their powerful effects on body weight gain, to blood sugar imbalances, adrenal fatigue. The fact that it was emphasized that not always mean it is one thing bad. Being busy with a lot of stuff going on can easily leave you stressed. It is always a good idea to take that time and gets a deserved rest occasionally.
5. A Break Sweat Every Day – Exercise is the natural way of strengthening our bodies ourselves. By breaking a sweat by exercising you know you are pushing your body beyond its comfort zone. This does not mean you have to trust yourself to a gym every day, but even going for a walk or jog with your dog can be great for you. The exercise is great for your immune system, but also help you lose weight and feel good.
